Some of you may remember a few months back when we reported that Power Rangers: Super Legends would be the last Gamecube game. Well, things change, and now it looks like we won't be able to say a fond farewell to our Gamecubes with our morphers held high after all. The Gamecube version of Power Rangers: Super Legends has disappeared from virtually every release list, is listed as being canceled at IGN, and is no longer listed on Disney Interactive's website. However, searching for the game over at IGN reveals a Wii version, in addition to the PS2, PC, and DS versions, with a "TBA" release date and a $39.99 MSRP, which is $10 more than the PS2 and DS versions. While this is in no way an official confirmation that the game is in fact coming to the Wii, it would fit in with the trend of Wii games being $10 more expensive than their PS2 counterparts.

I commented back in the last article on this game that it made no sense that it was coming to the Gamecube and not the Wii, and it appears as if Disney Interactive realized that fact as well. But until we get some kind of official confirmation from Disney Interactive, us Wii owners will just have to wait, and hope that we will someday be able to strike that mighty finishing blow with the Megazord's Power Sword with a swing of our Wii Remotes.
