An anime adaptation of the manga Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is on the way, and a worldwide release is confirmed. In July 2023, it will make its debut. Variety confirmed that only Hulu is confirmed as a subscription service for it, at the moment, but more are planned. The first trailer for the series also appeared. [Thanks, Variety!]
In Zom 100, Akira Tendo wakes up to find a zombie apocalypse kicked off. This means he no longer needs to return to the tedious office job he hates. However, given the state of the world, he’s uncertain how long he might have left. So, he creates a bucket list of 100 things he wants to attempt to do before the zombies get him. The series follows his attempts to complete his goals while he meets and aids other survivors.
The first Zom 100 trailer spends one minute showing off the upcoming series.
Here is the key visual for the anime adaptation. It features Akira on a motorcycle with Shizuka Mikazuki, surrounded by zombies.
