Zhongli ‘Will Have Order’ in the New Genshin Impact Trailer

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

People have yet another chance to get to know Genshin Impact’s Zhongli ahead of launch. A second trailer has appeared. While the first character trailer showed more of his background at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, this one focuses more on his battle prowess. Specifically, he mentioned that he “cannot watch the common folk suffer” and “will have order.”

Which evidently means summon down some sort of Geo meteorite that turns all enemies around him to ash that disintegrates.

Zhongli himself offers a bit of narration for the video, offering his motivations as we see him fight with his spear. (There is a lot of polearm-kicking over this almost two minute segment.) He also reminds the viewer that Liyue’s first contract was “to cleanse the land and defend our safe harbor,” before hinting that a new contract has been signed.

Here’s the Genshin Impact Zhongli: The Listener trailer. If miHoYo follows its usual pattern, we should see one more video for him that specifically focuses on his attacks and special abilities.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, Android devices, and Apple iOS devices, with a Nintendo Switch version in the works. The Genshin Impact Zhongli banner, which also offers increased odds of pulling Chongyun, Razor, and Xinyan, will be available December 1-22, 2020.
