It seems the latest batch of images highlight three different types of attack from Yuffie. In one, she’s performing a standard attack with her four-point shuriken. In the other, it seems that she is performing her Elemental Ninjutsu ability. This appeared in the Episode INTERmission DLC in Final Fantasy VII Remake and allowed her to change the element tied to her attacks. It’s the third screenshot that shows the doppelganger move. When performed, a duplicate of her shows up to also attack whichever enemy is also on the field in front of her.

Here’s a closer look at all three of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Yuffie battle screenshots.

Now that the game’s release is drawing near, Square Enix has shared more looks at what to expect. For example, there was a “Destined for Rebirth” trailer. The company also showed off this version of Dyne and what a date with Barret at the Gold Saucer will look like.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PS5 on February 29, 2024, with the exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024. FFVII Remake is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and FFVII Ever Crisis is available on the PC and mobile devices.
