Ys VI: Online The Ark of Napishtim Will Arrive on Mobile Devices in Spring 2021

Restar Games announced the official title of the upcoming Ys VI mobile title, and alongside it an expected window of release. Ys VI: Online The Ark of Napishtim will arrive on mobile devices in Japan sometime in Spring 2021. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Restar Games describes Ys VI: Online The Ark of Napishtim as an online RPG, and while the game is free to download there will be some in-app purchases. Additionally, a key visual was shared featuring Adol Christin adrift in a sea while a large ship looms behind him.

More information about the mobile title will be shared at a later date. However, a teaser website and official Twitter account are currently live. Pre-registration is currently available through the website. Those interested only need to enter their email in order to pre-register for the upcoming mobile game. The pre-order email mentions that the window of release is subject to change without notice.

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim released in September 2003 for PC to Japanese audiences. A PlayStation 2 release followed in 2005, with a PlayStation Portable version of the title releasing in 2006. In 2015 the PC version was released worldwide.

Ys VI: Online The Ark of Napishtim will arrive on Android and iOS devices in Japan sometime in Spring 2021.
