NIS America initially offered a 2021 release window for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Switch and PC copies, noting it’d appear after the PS4 version. Now there’s an exact date. People will see it debut on the Switch on July 6, 2021 in North America, July 9, 2021 in Europe, and July 16, 2021. As for the PC version, it will show up everywhere on July 6, 2021.
The announcement included a reminder that the Switch version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will also get a Pact Edition release. This is a collector’s edition that gives people a copy of the game, the Monstrum Memoirs art book, and the Melodies of the Macabre digital soundtrack. It will cost $59.99 at stores like GameStop.
To go along with the release confirmation, there’s a new trailer for the game. It sets the stage for Adol’s new adventure, which involves him gaining Monstrum powers and working alongside new allies as he’s trapped in the city of Balduq.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will appear on July 6, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch in North America and PC worldwide. The Switch version will show up in Europe on July 9, 2021 and Australia on July 16, 2021.
