You Can Play As A Samurai Onion In Upcoming Hack-‘N’-Slasher Yasai Ninja

Reco Technology has revealed its humorous third-person hack-‘n’-slasher Yasai Ninja for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the trailer above.

It allows you to play as Broccoli Joe and Samurai Onion in different parts of the story as they attempt to take down the evil feudal lord cucumber.

You can also play it as multiplayer with another friend if you wish. “Depending on which character are you playing with, the game can be really different, showing parts where you only can reach with one character and his weapons,” explains Reco Technology.

Each character unlocks different abilities as they gain experience from winning fights. Broccoli Joe starts of with nunchaku, concentrating on evading attacks rather than blocking them, but later on he can fight with metal rings around his arms that makes him stronger. Samurai Onion, on the other hand, is slower and blocks with a sword, later using a slower long-ranged weapon called a naginta.
