Yomi wo Saku Hana is a dungeon crawler, much like many of Experience’s other games. You’ll create your own team of Undernauts, who are stylistically based on people of various ages and occupations, and send them into the depths of Yomi. Battles are turn-based, and the Undernauts have access to a Switch Boost system that could power them up with various skill effects, depending on the type of Switch Boost used.

During exploration, the Undernauts will need to use Yomi flowers picked up in the dungeon to create ladders, bridges, and other tools in order to progress. Additionally, the trailer shows a feature where you can put down Monster Flowers in order to draw in strong monsters to fight for more experience.

At the very end of the trailer, we see and hear a figure that seems to be a young girl who could possibly be linked to the ruler of Yomi, the Mad King.

Yomi wo Saku Hana will release digitally for the Xbox One on June 11, 2020. The game will later release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Winter 2020. An hour of gameplay was previously shown off here.
