Yoko Taro is always up to some kind of shenanigans, whether it’s to prove a point or just to troll, but this time it was a little bit of both in a recent costume made for the smartphone game SINoALICE.

The above trailer shows the new “Territorial Waters Offender” gacha update that kicked off in the Square Enix smartphone RPG. It’s a new outfit made for Dorothy’s new “Cleric” job and it comes with a new SS weapon and more.

While it seemed like another regular update for SINoALICE, Yoko Taro shared on Twitter “I was told that mobile gacha games don’t sell unless it shows plenty of skin, so I decided to give Dorothy this equipment.”

Yoko Taro often likes to tease fans by saying he’ll do the exact opposite of whatever they ask for, like the time he jokingly said he’ll do a single-ending game next in response to a majority audience that asked for multi-ending. However, this time he seemed pretty serious about it, and delivered in the best kind of way.

SINoALICE is available in Japan for iOS and Android. In case you missed it, check out Siliconera’s interview with Yoko Taro and composer Keiichi Okabe who talked about being hard on themselves when it comes to their creations.
