Android and Apple iOS devices have a new, free-to-play Yo-Kai Watch game. Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble is similar to Disney Tsum Tsum. Players are presented with a Yo-Kai Watch that’s filled with Yo-Kai Wib Wobs. You must connect them by drawing lines with your fingers across matching characters, then pop large Yo-Kai Wib Wobs to damage to enemy Yo-Kai. The goal is to deplete your opponent’s health before your own runs out.
Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble’s battles feature many of the same elements as ones found in the Nintendo 3DS game. You can collect food as you play, which can be used to bribe the enemy Yo-Kai. If you’ve increased their affection enough with food, they’ll become your friend. This lets you use their Wib Wob in puzzles. (Jibanyan is the first one you’ll befriend.) You can also build up energy to use stronger Soultimate Moves against opponents. It’s even possible to get battle bonuses by equipping multiple Yo-Kai from the same tribe.
You can find Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble on the North American iTunes and Google Play stores right now. While it can be played for free, with players using money earned from matches to buy items, it’s also possible to purchase in-game cash with real money.
