Yo-kai Watch 2 Coming To Nintendo 3DS, Will Have Two Versions

Yo-kai Watch 2 is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan, Level 5 reveal in the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine. The game will be available in two versions—Founder and Head. (Thanks, Anime News Network)

 

In Yo-kai Watch 2, Keita and co. will travel back in time to a Showa era version of New Sakura Town, with the help of a mysterious youkai. The game will reveal the secret of Keita’s youkai watch, which allows him to communicate with Japanese spirits.

 

Two new characters will be key to the story—Keizou, a boy in the past that bares a resemblance to Keita, and Dekanyan, a new cat youkai. The game will have new events, and will also give you access to special youkai if you own the first Yo-kai Watch.

 

Yo-kai Watch 2 will be available in Japan on July 10th. Both the Founder and Head versions will have limited editions that give you special rare medals. Meanwhile, Level 5 International America have been gauging interest for the first Yo-kai Watch in the west.
