Another day, another new look at Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. This one involves a trailer that suggests the return of both familiar faces and an ominous new one. The Yiga Clan will be back as an enemy, with Master Kohga looking as intimidating as ever.
The trailer begins with ordinary members of the Yiga Clan happening upon Link, Zelda, and some other members of the Hyrulean army. We see various warriors from the group, before the ominous leader is introduced. To set up his debut, his followers let Link and, by extension, players know that Master Kohga “is gonna kill you all… to death!”
At the 30 second mark, the new figure is introduced in a much more solumn moment. Two members of the clan are bowing down before him in the woods.

In addition to the familiar Yiga Clan faces, past trailers reintroduced other characters. We saw a playable Impa at the end of September 2020. Then, in early October 2020, Purah and Robbie made their return. Even the Korokswill come back.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will come to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 20, 2020.
