Yep, Etrian Mystery Dungeon Sold Out In Japan

On March 5th, Atlus released Etrian Mystery Dungeon in Japan, and the game sold 65,226 copies at retail in its first week. At the time, Atlus published a press release stating that Etrian Mystery Dungeon was sold out in stores and asked consumers for their patience while they restocked the game.

 

In their weekly sales report, Japanese sales tracker Media Create shares further insight into just how the game sold. Media Create says that Etrian Mystery Dungeon sold through 91.96% of its shipment, which means that the game was virtually sold out.

 

Judging by its performance, Etrian Mystery Dungeon did better than expected, and it certainly did better than previous games in the Mystery Dungeon series. You can read our detailed sales analysis here.
