People have a chance to hear a whole new take on Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. Back in October 2020, the sequel to Inuyasha starring Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru’s daughters began airing, with it even streaming worldwide. Now, the first episode of the Yashahime English dub is available to stream on Funimation.

The first episode of the show is something of a refresher. It gives people a chance to meet Towa Higurashi, one of Sesshoumaru’s twin daughters who has been living in the present with Kagome’s little brother’s family, as she deals with a demon in her original time period. It also ends up introducing people to Setsuna, Towa’s twin, and Moroha, Inuyasha and Kagome’s daughter. Other classic Inuyasha characters appear too.

They will probably sound familiar. Viz Media confirmed that many of the English voice actors would reprise their roles. In particular, the people who played Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo are all back again.  Towa, Setsuna, and Moroho are played by Erica Mendez, Kira Buckland, and Morgan Berry in the show.

Here’s a sample of the Yashahime English dub.

Yashahime is currently running and streaming worldwide. People can see it in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation. The Yashahime English dub’s first episode is available on Funimation.
