Yakuza Social Game Puts A Hit On Mafia Wars

Mafia Wars watch out, Sega is developing a social game with their Yakuza series. Famitsu’s table of contents mentions a GREE x Yakuza New Project.

GREE is a popular, but not quite Mixi level social network in Japan that is only for mobile phone users. Earlier this year, GREE announced they were expanding into games. Square Enix released Chocobo’s Crystal Tower and Knights of the Crystal for GREE. Both games were eventually received Facebook ports.

No details about the GREE x Yakuza Project New Project have been released at this time.
