Yakuza: Like a Dragon Will Add New Game Plus, Harder Difficulty, and More as DLC

Sega announced in its latest Sega Nama broadcast that a few new DLC additions coming to Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

As usual, the Sega Nama broadcast featured series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi and co-host Ayana Tsubaki. We got some info on what’s coming to Yakuza: Like a Dragon via DLC in the February 25 broadcast.

The first is the New Game Plus for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Additionally, a higher difficulty mode exclusive to second playthroughs will be available via DLC. Sega didn’t get into too many specific details about the DLC, however, it seems to mostly feature content that adds more gameplay to give players more to do.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is available in Japan and Asia for PlayStation 4. The game will release for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2020. In Japan it launched with pretty solid numbers north of 150,000 units sold for PlayStation 4 through retail in its debut. The game launched weekly batches of free DLC but the last one arrives soon on February 27, 2020.
