It seems like a Yakuza Like a Dragon PC release could be on the way. SteamDB, an online tool that looks at the Steam database and its various additions and alterations, has discovered a listing for the next game in Sega’s series. It went up at 16:42 UTC on May 4, 2020. SteamDB lists it as Unknown App 1235140 and noted it is “deleted or hidden to the public.” However, it includes the localized preview item shown at the top of the article.
No actual information about a possible Yakuza Like a Dragon PC version is available via the entry. However, a number of images for Steam listings are there like headers, logos, and other images. You can see them all below.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon was released as Ryu ga Gotoku 7 in Japan back on January 16, 2020. At the time, it was only released on the PlayStation 4. However, other entries in the series, like Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, have appeared on PCs outside Japan.
As of March 2020, it sold 400,000 copies. It stars entirely new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga, though other familiar faces also return. An English release has been confirmed, with even some evidence of a possible English dub.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan. A 2020 worldwide release is planned.
