Yakuza: Like a Dragon Minigames Include English ‘Baka Mitai’ Karaoke

The Yakuza: Like a Dragon minigames take center stage in the latest trailer, and there’s a big surprise with the karaoke activity this time around. In addition to the Japanese versions of new and old songs, there will be English versions as well. This includes the classic “Baka Mitai.”

The video shows the typical activities you might expect. The batting cages, darts, and golf are back. So are Club Sega games, like Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. New ones come up too, like an Ichiban Confections shareholder meeting where part-time employee Omelette the chicken appears and a vocational school quiz. At the very end, you can hear a brief clip of “Baka Mitai (I’ve Been a Fool)” in English.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on November 10, 2020, with Smart Delivery available for Xbox One players who eventually get an Xbox Series X. The PlayStation 5 version will appear on March 2, 2021 and, while it has an upgrade path too, it won’t use the PS4 version’s save files.
