Yakuza Kiwami 2 Xbox One and Windows 10 Copies Arrive July 30, 2020

Back in November 2019, Sega announced it would be bringing Yakuza games to the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Things started out with Yakuza 0, what with it being chronologically the first game. Yakuza Kiwami followed in April 2020. Now, on July 30, 2020, the Yakuza Kiwami 2 Xbox One and Windows 10 versions will debut.

People will be able to play the remake of Yakuza 2 in three ways on Microsoft platforms at the month. People could straight-up buy it for $19.99 for the Xbox One or Windows 10 PC. (The normal PC version arrived back in May 2019.) Or, if someone subscribes to the Xbox Game Pass, they could go ahead and play it there as long as their subscription is active.

This means three of the four promised Xbox One Yakuza ports have arrived. The fourth is Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Microsoft and Sega confirmed at the May 2020 Xbox 20/20 presentation that the most recent installment in the series would show up on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in addition to the PlayStation 4.

As for Yakuza Kiwami 2, it follows Kazuma Kiryu as he is once again pulled back into the Tojo Clan’s affairs after an assassination. The Dragon of Dojima finds himself facing the Dragon of Kansai, Ryuji Goda. Oh, and this remake adds a whole new Majima Construction minigame and strategic affair.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is immediately available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The Yakuza Kiwami 2 Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs on July 30, 2020.
