For the first time the Yakuza series is leaving PlayStation consoles. Sega will release Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U on August 8, which is a port of the PlayStation 3 compilation released in Japan last year.

Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U includes the first two games with remastered graphics and if all of the PlayStation 3 features are intact, easy mode. New for the Wii U version is Gamepad support which lets players view maps on or play the game directly on it.
