Xseed revealed their mysterious PSP horror game today, and as many suspected, it is indeed the original Corpse Party. Corpse Party follows students in Kisaragi High School. Their school was built on top of an elementary school that was torn down following a series of murders. Now, they have to deal with a school filled with corpses and ghosts.

Something Xseed mention that we hadn’t heard before is that Corpse Party features simulated 3D surround sound. They recommend playing with headphones on. The game will retain its Japanese voice-track.

Decisions you make in the game will change the outcome of the story, and Xseed say there are no “Game Over” screens. You can watch the game’s Japanese opening movie here. Corpse Party is slated for release sometime this fall as a PlayStation Network download.
