Developed by Shenmue and Space Channel Part 2 lead programmer Tak Hirai, Orgarhythm is a genre defying music strategy game. Players take on the role of a god and command different tribes. As you send units into battle, beats are added to the background so your commands add to the game’s music. The teaser site has one other interesting bit of news. Xseed shares the copyright to Orgarhythm with Japanese publisher Acquire. What does this mean? Xseed is going to release Orgarhythm in the West. Both companies also share ownership of Sumioni: Demon Arts, which came out for PlayStation Vita last week.

Orgarhythm is slated for a summer release in Japan and it’s priced at 3,990 yen ($49) for a retail copy.
