Xseed "May Or May Not" Have A Senran Kagura Announcement Soon

The Senran Kagura series is the biggest series Marvelous AQL owns. It started off on 3DS and expanded into a mixed media franchise with character goods, an anime series, and a whole slate of games. Xseed brought Senran Kagura Burst to the West and we asked Executive Vice President Ken Berry how the game did.

"[Senran Kagura] Burst has done about to expectations. We’re definitely looking at at future titles in the series. We may or may not have an announcement soon," Berry said to Siliconera. Hmm… is this a tease for the PlayStation Vita game, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus?

Last year, Xseed branched out a little bit with Killer Is Dead, a stylish action game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games. How did that do?

"Probably a little below our expectations, because we were really hoping to branch out and hit new fans with that one. But, can’t say that we regret trying it. It was a very stylish and cool game. We gave it our best shot," Berry replied.
