Despite their partnership with Marvelous USA, Xseed is not involved with Muramasa: The Demon Blade anymore (thanks for the tip Denpa no Sekai!!). We contacted Xseed about the news and they confirmed it was accurate.
The change of hands happened with in the past few weeks, but will not affect the domestic release of Muramasa: The Demon Blade. A new publisher will be announced as early as tomorrow. Aside from working with Xseed, Marvelous’ games have been handled by Atlus, Ignition Entertainment, Natsume, and Ubisoft.
