Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Foresees Screenshots and Cinematics

We got a new look at Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition earlier on March 26, 2020, during the Nintendo Direct Mini. The official page for the game has now been opened up, giving us a look at the game via new screenshots. Several of the game’s cinematics are shown with the new visual style as well.

According to the store page, the game is 13.7 GB large and will support many languages, including Japanese, French, German, Chinese, English, Spanish, Italian, and Korean.

Meanwhile, the Japanese site goes into a bit more detail on the game, detailing the backstory and early game events that lead to Shulk beginning his journey all across Bionis and Mechonis. We saw a bit of it during the Nintendo Direct Mini, but these versions aren’t blocked out by the voice of the narrator.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will be released with standard physical copies and a Definitive Works Set that includes a 250-page artbook with its own slipcase and a box to store it all. The European version has even more goodies and includes a steelbook, vinyl record, and the aforementioned artbook.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition will release on May 29, 2020 on the Nintendo Switch. Xenoblade Chronicles is immediately available on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii. The Definitive Edition features upgrades like improved visuals and audio, as well as a new epilogue.
