Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Original Soundtrack To Release In Japan On May 23

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 sound producer and composer Yasunori Mitsuda announced that the Switch RPG is releasing its original soundtrack in three versions this May in Japan.

 

The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Original Soundtrack album comes in three versions: the limited production Type-A, the deluxe complete limited edition Type B version, and the standard Type-C.

The “Type-A” version will be super limited with only 2,000 being produced. It comes with a special Core Crystal-shaped USB drive (pictured above) that has its own serial number. This edition comes with a total of 126 tracks, with 105 (48khx/24bit wav) tracks from the main game, 16 jingles, and 5 piano arrangement tracks. This version comes with a 120-page deluxe booklet about Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s music as well. This will all be available for 18,000 yen plus tax.

 

The “Type-B” version is another limited edition version that comes with a total of 126 tracks (105 from the main game, 16 jingles, and 5 piano arrangements). It also comes with the 120-page booklet. While it won’t include the Core Crystal USB stick, the 6-disc soundtrack includes three piano score sheets and a special message card.

 

Lastly, “Type-C” is the standard edition of the soundtrack that comes with 105 tracks from the main game on a CD and a 12-page booklet for 4,500 yen plus tax.

 

The standard album will also be available digitally for 4,500 yen, or for 200 yen for each track. Both Type-A and Type-B versions will only be available through Amazon Japan.
