Nintendo shared the latest footage of the upcoming RPG by Monolith Soft, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, at Gamescom 2017. The lengthy gameplay shows us a new area with more of its fantastic soundtrack.

Here’s a look at the new footage, courtesy NintendoEverything:

The footage goes over plenty of details on how battles work in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with info on its arts and more. The game takes place in an endless “ocean of clouds” where the last remnants live on the backs of numerous colossal beasts known as Titans. Going by the size of this new area, we can only imagine how big the whole game will be when it releases later this year.

To emphasize more on how huge Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is, executive director Tetsuya Takahashi previously mentioned that he’d like to work on smaller projects, which makes sense considering his previous two titles of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X were already big enough.

Composer Yasunori Mitsuda also recently chimed in to say that his work on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 might be the biggest project he’ll ever work on in his lifetime. You can read more about that in our earlier report.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 releases for the Nintendo Switch this Holiday Season.
