Microsoft set September 4 as the Xbox One launch date in Japan. The system will cost 49,980 yen with Kinect bundled or 39,980 yen without Kinect. A price for a Kinect sensor has not been announced.
Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome will be first party launch titles. Square Enix will also release Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Thief, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Call of Duty: Ghosts as launch games for Japan.
Microsoft also has D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die from Deadly Premonition developer Swery65, which was announced as a 2014 title too.
