Without Within 2 To Be A “Travel Novel,” Demo Available Now

InvertMouse has announced Without Within 2 and even has a demo you can download on its website.

The plot is summarised as such: “Vinty is attending a calligraphy event over in Melbourne. At last, she will be able to meet Excelia, the world famous calligrapher. Determined to study and mimic her idol’s every move, will Vinty end up losing her identity?”

As with Without Within, this sequel is a visual novel but there will be no choices and runs at about five times the length, coming in at about 20,000 words. InvertMouse also refers to it as a “travel novel.” What this means is that as Vinty travels across Melbourne there will be optional links to videos that InvertMouse has recorded to show you the real places.

There will be no Kickstarter for Without Within 2 but it will also not be available for free, unlike the first one – it’ll be sold for about $5. It has already been Greenlit and, once it does arrive on Steam, will come with the much-requested Vinty trading cards and badges.
