Nintendo have announced a launch date for the Wii U in North America. The system will be released on November 18th, and will come in two bundles.
The basic set Wii U will be white in colour and will come with the Wii U console,Wii U GamePad, and AC adapter for each, a high-speed HDMI cable, and a Wii U sensor bar. The Wii U in this set will have 8GB of internal flash memory. It will cost $299.99.
Meanwhile, the deluxe set Wii U will be black in colour and will come with 32GB of memory. The deluxe set will include the Wii U console, the Wii U GamePad, an AC adapter for each, a high-speed HDMI cable, the Wii U sensor bar, and Nintendo Land packed in. It will cost $349.99.
The deluxe set will also have a scheme that will give you points for each digital download game you buy. These points can then be used for future purchases.
As previously reported, the Wii U has 2GB of main memory. 1GB goes toward games, while the other 1GB is meant for OS-level functions. Wii U discs can hold up to 25GB of data.
