Who to Invite to the Metaphor: ReFantazio Dragon God Festival

Before leaving Virga Island on September 6th in Metaphor: ReFantazio, the Mustari throw a Dragon God festival you can invite one of your allies to for a special moment. Since this can net you one weapon you can use, who you pick can be a critical decision.

Which character should I invite to the Metaphor: ReFantazio Dragon God festival?

This story event isn’t really about building up Bond points with your allies. Rather, it is about getting to know them better and get a weapon for the Archetype line tied to them. So, as an example, since Gallica is tied to the Mage line of Archetype roles, you get a rod from choosing her.

Here’s the full list of people you can choose to invite to spend time with you during the Dragon God festival in Metaphor: ReFantazio and the weapon you get from doing so:

  • Eupha: Dancing Crosier for Summoner.
  • Gallica: Whalebone Rod for Mage.
  • Heismay: Silence (Katana) for Thief.
  • Hulkenberg: Driftwood Lance for Knight.
  • Junah: Stylish Fan for Masked Dancer.
  • Neuras: Protobow Beta for Gunner.
  • Strohl: Rebel’s Greatsword for Warrior.

When it comes to choosing who to pick, I’d say the practical choice is to select an Archetype branch you find yourself often including in your party. Do you like using magic a lot and are sending people down the Mage, Wizard, and Elemental Master, pick Gallica. If you enjoy the power that comes from the Summoner and Devil Summoner roles, go with Eupha. Is a Warrior, Swordmaster, and Samurai more your style? Pick Strohl.

If you are looking for any semblance of romance, then I’d suggest selecting Eupha. I’ve found this is the one option out of the seven that feels most like going on a date in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is also a demo available.
