Level-5’s transforming hero RPG will finally be available in North America on February 2, 2010. To distinguish this version of White Knight Chronicles from the two other releases already out in Japan, Sony added an “International Edition” subtitle.

So far, White Knight Chronicles: International Edition has the most content on disc. We get fifty disc-based online quests, the village building Georama system Level-5 added to the Japanese release as a download, “live talk” (read: party chat), voice chat for online play, and most importantly a localized version of the game.

Sounds like Sony Computer Entertainment America will release additional content after the game arrives in North America. Cristian Cardona, Associate Product Manager, says on the PlayStation Blog, “Wait until you hear what else we’ll have at launch!” SCEJ steadily released free quests, rebalanced the game, and added content to White Knight Chronicles for almost a year after it launched in Japan.
