If you return to Hyrule Castle in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you can find a sidequest called “A Curious Child” that involves a kid asking to see three types of Zol echoes. While two are ones you’ll have after going through the Suthorn region, the other involves getting two Faron Wetlands monsters.
Which three Zol echoes do you need for “A Curious Child” in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom?
So the first Zol that you need for “A Curious Child” is the standard one. This is the green slime you find immediately on the beach after escaping Hyrule Castle in the introduction. You’ll absolutely already have this one by the time you get there. Summon its echo, and you’ll be set.
Just in case, here are screenshots I took of where you can find one and what the monster looks like.
The kid will then ask to see a Zol that looks like a candle. This is the Ignizol. We see one in the first cave you come across when heading into Suthorn Forest to fix the rift within it. Again, you probably already have this one on-hand. So summon it to satisfy the second request.
Again, in case you missed it, here is what it looks like in your echoes bar and the cave where you’ll find one.
The third part of the quest is a bit more complicated. The curious child in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will ask to see a Hydrozol, but specifies that it needs to be a big one. This means you need the Drippitune you needed for a sidequest in Scrubton and a Hydrozol. Summon the Drippitune, so it starts raining. Then, summon the Hydrozol echo in front of the kid. This will satisfy the requirement.
Here’s a screenshot of where you find the Hydrozol, as well as what a larger one looks like after you summon a Drippitune to make it rain.
As a reward, you get one Might Crystal. The kid also hints that there may be other kinds of Zol out there.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
