Rise of the Ronin Flame Pipe location

The Flame Pipe: a fiery flamethrower that spits out flames by burning fuel. While it’s up for grabs fairly early on, it could slip through your fingers if you’re not keeping tabs on your bonds and side quests. To snag this scorching weapon, you’ll need to begin the questline for Igashichi Iizuka.

Early on, before even stepping foot into Yokohoma proper, you’ll encounter Iizuka. Your initial meeting will lead to the formation of a bond between you and the character. However, to kickstart his questline, you’ll need to actively seek him out and initiate it yourself.

After the Photography Studio unlocks, you can locate Iizuka there. This building becomes accessible shortly after your arrival in Yokohoma. Once you’ve found him, Iizuka offers to exchange foreign books for technology upgrades to aid you on your journey.

Even more crucially, once you hand him your first foreign book, he’ll present you with a quest. Entitled “A Lucky Find Put to Use,” this quest drops a subtle hint about the significance of the Flame Pipe. Iizuka will request your assistance in accompanying him to his hidden workshop. Your mission? Once there, you’re tasked with clearing out some government officials who are sniffing around the place.

With the officials taken care of, you’ll venture into the workshop at Iizuka’s behest. Inside, he’ll offer you the chance to claim any item as a reward for your help. And there it is, sitting tantalizingly on the table: The Flame Pipe. Stepping back outside, you’ll receive a quick tutorial on how to wield the weapon just before a group of new enemies appears, eager for you to put it to the test.

Rise of the Ronin is available exclusively on the PS5.
