Where to Find Vixy in Palworld

Vixy is one of the most useful Pals to catch in Palworld, as it drops Bone and can produce Pal Spheres for free at your base camp. Here is where to find Vixy in Palworld and the best ways to use it.

Many players will want to know the best place to farm Vixy on their map, as the Pal is one of the main sources for Bone in Palworld. Unfortunately, the adorable fox can really only be found in one area in the entire world. Thankfully, Vixy spawns close to the beginning section of the game, making it pretty easy to catch.

Vixy can be found near the Desolate Church fast travel point in Palworld. The location may be familiar to you, as it’s right next to the Rayne Syndicate Tower, where you face off against the first major boss fight of the game.

How to catch Vixy in Palworld

While Vixy is a pretty common Pal, you may need to circle the area a few times as its spawn is randomly generated. In my playthrough, I found two Vixy near the church doors, so I didn’t have to travel very far.

However, the spawn area for Vixy is pretty wide. So, if you have one of the flying mounts in Palworld, you can quickly find it in seconds by scouting the skies. A ground mount is also super useful to track the Normal-type.

Below are the steps to catch Vixy:

• Open up your map and warp to the Desolate Church fast travel point. If you haven’t unlocked it, use the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance instead.
• Once at the church, take the path to the left of its entrance and walk on the red grass.
• If you don’t see a Vixy near the church doors, you will want to circle to the grassy area behind the building.
• Use the farming route pattern shown in the map above, and keep circling until you find wild Vixy in the overworld.
• You may need to warp in and out of the area to trigger Vixy’s spawns on the map.
• Once you find Vixy, use a Pal Sphere to catch it. However, be careful, as it spawns at level 4 so it’s easy to knock it out accidentally.

How to make Pal Spheres with Vixy in Palworld

One of the major advantages of catching Vixy is that it literally gives you free Pal Spheres in Palworld. This is a pretty big deal at the beginning of the game, as it will allow you to level up quickly as you can catch Pals without worrying about crafting.

To make Pal Spheres with Vixy, you must unlock the Ranch at level 5. Before you can get your infinite Pal Sphere factory up and running, however, you need to take a few steps to get the Pal ready to make the items, which we will outline below:

• Catch a Vixy near the Desolate Church fast travel point. I actually recommend you get up to four Vixy, as this will speed up the process dramatically.
• Reach level 4 and unlock the Ranch structure in your Technology menu. Next, craft the Ranch with 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 30 Fiber.
• Interact with your Pal Box in camp and click the “Pal Box Management” option.
• Next, select Vixy in your box and drop it in an empty slot in the “Pal who is at the base” window.
• Your Vixy should automatically go to the Ranch. However, if they don’t, pick them up and throw them inside the fence to assign them to it.
• Wait a few minutes, as your Vixy will start grazing on the hay. Eventually the fox Pal will start dropping blue Pal Spheres on the ground inside the Ranch.
• Set up a Wooden Chest nearby, and have a Pal assigned to your base with a “transportation” stat.
• Leave your camp and return after an hour to collect the Pal Spheres in your chest.

It should be noted that you will not get a flood of Pal Spheres immediately. It still takes time. So you should view this as a passive bonus. For instance, if you will be playing the game anyway, check back in at your base after playing a couple of hours. I did this and had over 100 Pal Spheres in my chest. The rate will also depend on how many Vixy you have. So be a little patient.

How to breed Vixy in Palworld

If, for some reason, you want to hatch Vixy from an egg instead, you can use the Palworld breeding feature. However, it should be pointed out that you need to at least be level 19 to unlock the Breeding Ranch, so this might not be ideal for some players.

Once you build the Breeding Ranch, you must bake a cake with the Cooking Pot, which unlocks at level 17. For this example, we are going to use Foxparks and Teafant. Pick up both Pals and throw them inside the Breeding Ranch fence to assign them. Place the Cake in the wooden box on the side of the Ranch and wait four minutes until an egg appears. Finally, place the Egg in an Incubator, and it will hatch Vixy!

• Foxparks x Teafant.
• Lamball x Lifmunk.
• Lifmunk x Cremis.
• Sparkit x Teafant.

Although you can breed them, it’s still good to know where to find Vixy in Palworld as they drop Bone. And that’s an important crafting resource that you’ll need for the first half of the game.
