Dragon’s Dogma 2 Ulrika Location

The Readvent of Calamity quest is kicked off after you are attacked by a giant Dragon when trying to revisit Melve. The quest will get a second part later on in the story after Captain Brant asks you to check back in on Melve. When you arrive at the town, you discover that Queen Disa’s lackey Martin has accused Ulrika of being a “traitor.” Following the fight, Ulrika will flee Melve in the night, and Lennart will ask you to “find her.” The only problem is the game doesn’t give you a single hint of where she ran off to. Don’t worry, though, as we’ve already mapped out her location for you!

Ulrika can be found in Harve Village in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The beachside town is located west of Vernworth Capital and is directly south of Trevo Mine. Unfortunately, you will need to do a few steps first before Ulrika will actually appear in Harve Village. However, for your convenience, we have provided a map of the exact location where Ulrika can be found in Dragon’s Dogma 2, so you aren’t running around for days without any direction.

Knowing where Ulrika is hiding is only half the battle, though, as you need to complete a second quest to get her to show up. Below, we will explain everything you need to do to find Ulrika in Dragon’s Dogma 2 so she appears in Harve Village.

How to find Ulrika in Dragon’s Dogma 2

If you were confused about what to do next after Ulrika flees Melve, you are not alone! After all, the game doesn’t give you any direction on where she went. However, the way the game expects you to solve this mystery is to return to where the game first started, which is the Borderwatch Outpost north of Melve. Once you arrive there, you can hire the Mage named Luksa as a Pawn, and she will then “guide” you to where Ulrika is hiding.

However, since we already know she’s in Harve Village, we can technically skip all that. Once you arrive at Harve, here are the steps to find Ulrika in Dragon’s Dogma 2:

  • Travel to Harve Village west of Vernworth.
  • Upon arriving in Harve, speak to Fyoran at the entrance to get the quest “Scaly Invaders.”
  • Defeat the Saurians who have infested the village.
  • Speak to Fyoran again, who will then ask you to return to the village once it’s “recovered.”
  • Go visit another city or location and sleep at an Inn to speed up time. Return to Harve Village a few days later.
  • Ulrika will now appear in the Harve. However, Saurians will invade again.
  • Defeat the creatures one last time to complete the “Scaly Invaders” quest.
  • You can now speak to Ulrika, who will explain why she ran away.
  • Report back to Lennart in Melve to complete Readvent of Calamity.”

How to complete Readvent of Calamity in Dragon’s Dogma 2

As stated above, the way the game expects you to find Ulrika is to return to the Border Outpost, where you summoned your first Pawn. While returning there, Luksa can now be hired as a Pawn. More importantly, the Mage is able to “guide” you to Ulrika’s location if you have the “Readvent of Calamity” quest set to active.

For some reason, the Mage also has an idea where Ulrika is hiding, which she will reveal if you talk to her. After clicking the “talk” option, select “Matters of Import,” and she will inform you of this. Regardless, the next step is to press “up” on your d-pad, which will cause Luksa to “guide” you across the map. If you follow her, she will eventually take you to Harve Village.

When you arrive in Harve Village, you will be stopped by a Beastren NPC named Fyoran at the entrance. The character will ask you to defeat the Saurians that have invaded the village. This will trigger the “Scaly Invaders” quest, which needs to be started before Ulrika appears in town.

The next step is actually one of the trickiest to complete due to the game not being entirely clear on how time progresses. After defeating the Saurians, Fyoran will ask you to “return another time” when the village has recovered from the attack. In my game, I went to a campfire nearby and went to sleep “until morning” six times in a row. You would think that my skipping time to the next morning six times would mean at least a few days would have gone by.

However, when I returned to Fyoran, he still acted like it was the same day. The only way I could get the Scaly Invaders quest to progress was to leave Harve Village and return to Vernworth. I then completed a few side quests and slept at an Inn. When I returned to Harve Village a “few days” later, Ulrika finally appeared and showed up on my screen as a clear yellow marker in the town.

After speaking to Ulrika at Harve Village, the final step of the Readvent of Calamity quest is to return to Melve. You will need to take an oxcart or walk on foot back to the early-game city. For more details on the oxcart system, check out our How to Fast Travel in Dragon’s Dogma 2 guide.

Once you return to Melve, speak to Lennart, who will be relieved that Ulrika is alive and safe. This will finally complete Readvent of Calamity. While this seems to be the end of this plot, Ulrika will make her return later in the story with a new quest as you progress the campaign.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/ S.
