Beastly Battle of Wits Answers Guide
Beastly Battle of Wits is a brand new side quest in this version of the game for players to do. It starts with speaking to Nozuchi in Da’at Minato. The demon will have three riddles for you to solve to complete the quest. Fortunately with the first and third riddles, the game will give you infinite tries to complete.
The answer to the first question is this one:
- An empty path.
From there, you will get the second riddle, which is to find Sangaku Beads. This riddle requires you to get these items based on the few hints you have with no quest marker unlike other side quests.
Where to Find Sangaku Beads in SMT V Vengeance
Essentially, the second riddle in the Beastly Battle of Wits refers to a specific location for the Sangaku Beads in SMT V Vengeance. That location is in the screenshot above. What you are looking for is a hill somewhere in Shiba with a set of Kodama and a view of Tokyo Tower.
The location you are looking for is the clearing just west of the Shiba Leyline. Head to this location west of the fast travel point, and you will see a shining object on the ground. Interact with it to pick up the Sangaku Beads. Return to Nozuchi for a third riddle, which results in a battle against it. Defeat Nozuhi to complete the side quest.
