Clayton’s blacksmithing stall is important for getting and upgrading tools, but before you can access it you’ll need to help the owner out with a request. To get the shop up and running again, here’s how to find Clayton’s Hammer and complete Hammer time in Mirthwood.

How to Complete Hammer Time in Mirthwood

Clayton’s Hammer is the object of the quest ‘Hammer Time’ in Mirthwood, found by talking to Clayton at the Blacksmith in south-west Brightoak. Clayton lost his hammer after throwing it in anger and suggests looking in a nearby tree, giving you a bow and arrow in case you need it to reach up there. You won’t, but never say no to a free weapon. Sitting at the edge of town there are an awful lot of trees around, but the one you want will be a little ways directly west just past the town’s fence marked by a magnifying glass symbol. Getting the interact prompt to appear can be a little finicky, but once you’ve got it you can return the hammer to Clayton to complete Hammer Time and earn an Iron Bar for your trouble.
