Where Is the Tricephalic Terror Mark in Final Fantasy XVI

More than a few Notorious Mark hunts in Final Fantasy XVI are like Tricephalic Terror. The board offers a vague hint, lets you know the opponent’s rank, and tells you the amount of gil and renown you will get. Unlike other Marks, you don’t get to know the opponent’s name or a more pinned-down location for where it is. But when it comes to Gorgimera, you’ll need to head to the Final Fantasy XVI Velkroy Desert.

Where is the Tricephalic Terror Gorgimera in Final Fantasy XVI?

While the Hunt Board listing for Tricephalic Terror in Final Fantasy XVI is vague, it actually gives you a lot of detail for finding Gorgimera. The Velkroy Dessert isn’t that big of a part of The Dhalmekian Republic. You can teleport right to a fast travel point with its name. The only difficult part is there’s a ridge, so you can’t run directly south to Gorgimera. You need to go around it, then head west. I marked it in the screenshot below for you.

Gorgimera is a level 45 fight, and I was at level 41 when I tackled it. While it does have the whole chimera thing going on, go into it knowing this is basically a “magic” fight. Expect ranged attacks like Delta Attack, The Dragon’s Voice, The Ram’s Voice, and Delta Force. All of these will be telegraphed before they “hit,” so you can avoid the AOE by keeping an eye on the ground and making sure Clive stays mobile.

While this is an S-rank fight, it isn’t as challenging as some of the others. As such, the rewards aren’t as impressive. You’ll get 15,000 EXP, 120 AP, 20,000 gil, 50 renown, and an Orichalcum.

Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PlayStation 5, as is a demo. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
