Strange Artifact location in The Last of Us Part II Remastered

Editor Note: there are some mild spoilers ahead. Certain aspects of the storyline, which you may want to play blind, will be discussed here.

During the Seattle: Day 1 act of Abby’s storyline, you’ll eventually come across an alleyway with businesses on either side. This is a pretty jampacked area with a large safe in the bakery and the double-barreled shotgun on the second floor of one of the buildings.

However, we’re after that Strange Artifact. In the back of the alley, there is a Chinese restaurant. Find the door in the rear of the restaurant and head upstairs. There will be a couple of Clickers to take care of, so be on guard. Once you reach the top of the building, look for a gap across the alley. Get a running start, and you can actually make this jump.

To progress you’ll need to head up, however, we want something else. Go left instead once you cross this gap. In the next room, immediately turn to your right. The Strange Artifact will be sitting on a table next to a desk fan. Picking it up will let you inspect it and net you the Relic of the Sages trophy.

The Strange Artifact in the Last of Us Part II Remastered is actually a precursor orb from Naughty Dog’s Jak and Daxter series. As a tradition, they’ve included a Precursor Orb as a collectible in every game since the first Uncharted. You can also find a shoutout to the Uncharted series and another trophy earlier during Ellie’s storyline.

The Last of Us II Remastered is available exclusively on the PS5.
