Where Is Pandemonium in Final Fantasy XVI

The enemy and concept of Pandemonium (sometimes Pandaemon) is a recurring one in Final Fantasy since it debuted in FFII. So, as you might expect, it shows up in the latest installment. This time, Pandemonium is a Notorious Mark orc enemy in Final Fantasy XVI, and you may happen upon it while going through the “Footfalls in Ash” mainline quest in the Kingdom of Waloed when nearing the end of the game.

How do you find Pandemonium in Final Fantasy XVI

As you’re going through “Footfalls in Ash,” which takes you past The Shadow Coast obelisk, you’ll find yourself in Skaithfarr. While the mainline quest involves a battle in the area, there is a branching path that leads to a suspicious area in the south. This optional area is where Pandemonium is, as you can see in the screenshot on the map below.

That S-rank notification isn’t for show. It means it. Pandemonium is a level 45 enemy in Final Fantasy XVI. (I was level 42 when I faced it.) It kicks off the match by immediately using Sanguine Rite, then follows it up with a number of moves with AOE attacks. A Rictus of Horror beam attack also comes up.

Once beaten, you get 15,000 EXP, 120 AP, 20,000 gil, 50 renown, and a Stained Loincloth for finishing off this foe.

Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PlayStation 5. A demo is out now as well. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
