Where to Find Every Aether Current in Yak T’el in FFXIV Dawntrail

In Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, the Main Scenario Quests take you to the dense jungles of Yak T’el. Full of trees and, in the lower forest, meteorites, it also hosts a number of Aether Currents, like the previous regions. Here’s how to find every Yak T’el Aether Current in FFXIV.

All FFXIV Aether Current Locations and Side Quests in Yak T’el

As in previous zones, there are 10 Aether Currents to collect on the field, four relegated to side quest rewards, and one received from completing the FFXIV Main Scenario Quest in the area. Picking up the field Aether Currents as you go will help make any further adventuring in the area much smoother for players. Retrieving the Aether Compass from the Collections section of the Duty menu will also make finding the Currents a much simpler affair.

Here are the locations of every side quest rewarding an Aether Current and the Aether Currents on the field throughout Yak T’el. I marked the Field Currents in green, while the quests are marked in blue.
