Where Is Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of hundreds of characters for you to meet and keep up with. Many of them have their own short storylines, histories, and cutscenes to enjoy. One of the side characters, Dammon, is crucial to your possible party member Karlach, and here’s where you can find him in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Where to Find Dammon After the Druid Grove in Baldur’s Gate 3

If you are like me, you’ll initially meet Dammon near the beginning of Baldur’s Gate 3 in the Druid Grove area. He is hanging out here and notes that he is a Tiefling blacksmith on his way to the city. But the problem is if you complete his people’s troubles with the goblins, he will pack up and leave the settlement.

There is a strong possibility he will leave this area before you even recruit Karlach, though you can do that at any point. Karlach has the infernal engine in her chest, which requires her to find a special blacksmith able to help her with it. In this case, it is Dammon.

Even if you do bring Karlach to Dammon before he leaves the Druid Grove, he is only able to help her some there. He will note that he can do more when they reach the city of Baldur’s Gate. But you are actually able to meet Dammon before reaching the city.

The next place you can meet Dammon is at the Last Light Inn in the cursed lands around the Moonrise Tower. This is your destination for Act 2, and you can reach the inn by entering the shadow lands via the mountain pass or the Underdark.

When you arrive here, pull out a torch, Light cantrip, or Produce Flame spell to protect yourself from the curse. Soon after arriving, you’ll run into some people you’ll need to fight alongside. After winning the fight against the undead, they will show you where the Last Light Inn is. Head here and you can find Dammon in the back of the inn where he can help Karlach once more.
