Xenowarfare Tech is a Contraband item in Starfield and can only be sold to black-market vendors such as the Trade Authority. The best place to sell the rare item is at The Den spacecraft hub in the Wolf Star System. Because there are no ship scans in Wolf, you will not have to worry about being caught with the Starfield Contraband in your cargo.

The Den is also accessible at any time and can be jumped to from most locations in the galaxy. Once you arrive at the space hub, make an immediate left at the entrance to find the Trade Authority kiosk. Xenowarfe Tech is a random item drop in Starfield, found at the Almagest Casino in the Olympus Star System. After clearing out the Spacers who have taken over the gambling ship, you can find a hidden Contraband cache behind the jackpot terminal.

The special Almagest Casino chest has a chance of containing Xenowarfare Tech, although it’s not guaranteed. If your cache doesn’t have it, then you will have to find the Contraband item as a random drop during the campaign.

Because Xenowarfe Tech is Contraband, you will get into trouble if you fly into any Star System that does ship scans. If you do end up finding the rare item, it’s recommended that you immediately fast-travel to the Wolf Star system to sell it at The Den Trade Authority.
