Where are the Ostrich Chicks in Mika and the Witch’s Mountain

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is an adorable fantasy adventure where you will use your broom to fly across the humble island of Mout Gaun and deliver packages. After a wretched whirlwind, several ostrich chicks have been separated from the Farmlands. It’s your job to find these little critters across the island. This guide will tell you where to find the ostrich chicks in Mika and the Witch’s Mountain.

Where to find the first ostrich chick

The ostrich chicks side-quest will begin the moment you pick up one. Hypothetically, you can obtain them in any order, although one of the ostrich chicks will not be obtainable until day 3, so we will cover that one last.

We picked up the first ostrich chick roaming across the land near the Farmlands. From the main town, head up to the beachline. You will come across cliff rocks with numerous air streams at the end of the beach. You want to ride through these air currents to land on the terrain above you, where the Farmlands is located. Then, you want to continue going up, past the train tracks, and you will come across the first ostrich chick.

You now want to return the ostrich chick to their rightful owner, Cecile. You can find her by backtracking your steps and heading to the train tracks, where you will find her underneath the train shelter. Again, here is the screenshot of where to go.

Where to find the second ostrich chick

The next ostrich chick is on top of the wooden tower at the Farmlands. However, you will have to use the airstreams elsewhere to gain the height required to land on the top of the building.

Head up and go past the train tracks. Follow the arrow that tells you to turn right, and you will come across some airstreams by a waterfall. Ride these to gain momentum to land on the terrain above. After you have done this, turn right, and you will run into the Smoke Factory. There is a cliff edge opposite the Smoke Factory building. Use the airstream on the cliff to gain speed on your broom. You should have enough height to land on the wooden tower, where you will find the second ostrich chick. Return the ostrich chick to Cecile back at the Farmlands. 

Where to find the third ostrich chick

As mentioned before, you can’t get the third ostrich chick until day 3, when you get the light broom, which will allow you to boost mid-flight. Go back to the waterfall and use the airstreams to land on the ground above like before, but instead of going right, which took you to the Smoke Factory, you will want to turn left this time.

You will come across another waterfall, go past it, and two airwaves will be in front of you. Fly through the first one, and while heading towards the second, use the boost to elevate you into the second aircurrent. The ostrich chick will be straight ahead, next to the arrow sign. On day 3, Cecile’s location will change. She will be on the far left side of the Farmlands.
