Where and How to Get the Bluecoat Cat in FFXIV Dawntrail

To get the Bluecoat Cat you will need to participate in Hunts. Thankfully, you do not need to exclusively hunt monsters in the Final Fantasy XIV expansion, as the currency required to obtain the Bluecoat Cat can be earned through Endwalker hunts.

The Bluecoat Cat can be exchanged for 800 Nuts by speaking to Ryubool Ja at X:13.9, Y:13.5 in Tuliyollal. Again, these are obtained through hunts, which can be found scattered throughout both the Dawntrail and Endwalker zones.

However, you will need to unlock the Dawntrail hunts by speaking to Bol Ogaw in Tuliyollal at X:13.8, Y:13.6. In order to accept the quest to unlock Dawntrail hunts you will need to have one Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic Job Class at Level 90.

From there, you can consult the Hunt Board next to him on what hunts are available in each specific zone. Keep in mind that B-Ranks will not give as many Nuts as A-Ranks or S-Ranks. And if you’re having trouble finding hunts, there are generally always hunting parties in the Party Finder.

Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
