HoYoVerse revealed the Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact release date in the Special Program, as usual. It will come out right after Version 4.0 ends, debuting on September 27, 2023. This new update will introduce two new playable characters—Neuvilette and Wriothesley—as well as several quality of life updates.

During the special program, HoYoVerse revealed the two banners that players can expect to pull from during this update. Phase 1 will feature Neuvilette and Hu Tao. Phase 2 will have Wriothesley and Venti. Both of the new Fontaine 5-star characters will use Catalysts. They will also have their own character quests so you can get to know them better outside of the new Archon Quests or their biographies.
There will also be a new Waterborne Poetry event in Liyue, as well as minor events to earn rewards such as Primogems and Mora. Since the next patch will also be the anniversary, players can expect to receive rewards in the mail such as Intertwined Fates and Primogems. Other updates include a revamp of the Commissions system to be something closer to what Honkai: Star Rail has.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Version 4.1 release date for Genshin Impact is September 27, 2023.
