Epic Games is about to host the latest tournament in Fortnite. It feels like it has been a while since one of these major event cups have happened, but, thankfully, fans don’t have to wait long. Here’s when you can expect the Fortnite D4VD Cup to begin and what rewards you might be able to earn.

When Does the Fortnite D4VD Cup Start?

Players don’t have to wait too long until the next tournament begins. The D4VD Cup will kick off on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Each region is different so you want to go based on your server. But for the most part, most of the tournaments begin around 12 p.m. local time for that particular server.

So, if you are playing on North America East, it will begin around 12 p.m. EDT. On the other hand, if you play on North America West, it will likely begin around 12 p.m. PDT. If you are in differing time zones than your server, you may need to do some adjustments to figure out when it begins for you.

How to Sign Up for the D4VD Cup

As for how you sign up for the Fortnite D4VD Cup, it is pretty simple. What you want to do is log into the game well before the tournament begins. I always suggest no later than 30 minutes prior to the tournament starting. This is to ensure there are no login queues that could mess you up.

This tournament is also a duos one so you’ll want to find a friend to compete with before the tournament starts. Just before the tournament begins, a new game mode playlist will appear named after the D4VD Cup. You’ll want to join that mode. This will let the game log your points and determine what rewards, if any, you receive at the end of the three-hour event.
