When does the Concord Open Beta Weekend start?

The Concord open beta weekend is fast approaching, providing a fresh opportunity for gamers to experience this exciting new 5v5 character-driven FPS. It will run from July 18-21, 2024, giving players on PlayStation 5 and PC a chance to dive into the game. As this is a true open beta, there are no requirements to participate. You just need the console or a Windows PC capable of running it. (The PC version of the Early Access Weekend required people to pre-order, as a reminder.)

During this period, participants will have access to all the content that was available in the Early Access beta, plus additional features. Specifically, players can explore a new map, Bone Mines, as well as a new mode called Area Control. This open beta will provide a broader player base and an enhanced gameplay experience, building on the success of the early access weekend.

What is included in the Concord Open Beta Weekend?

During this early access beta, players can experience all 16 launch characters, which can also be customized. The beta features five maps and offers four playable game modes.

Concord open beta maps:

  • Freewater
  • Star Chamber
  • Water Hazard
  • Shock Risk
  • Bone Mines (New to beta)

Open beta game modes:

  • Cargo Run
  • Clash Point
  • Trophy Hunt
  • Area Control (New to beta)

Any progress players made during the Concord Early Access Weekend, which ends on July 15, 2024, will carry over to the upcoming Open Beta Weekend. However, no progress from either beta will transfer to the full game. Instead, players participating in the beta will receive exclusive rewards, including the Frog Weapon Charm, a Star Flare Icon, and a Business Card, in the full game.

Concord includes 16 characters, 12 maps, and six team-based modes at launch, with regular post-launch free updates planned.

Concord is set to release on August 23, 2024 for the Playstation 5 and PC.
