When Does the Diablo 4 Winter Event Begin and All Rewards

Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating this colder, more festive time of year with the return of a fan-favorite winter celebration in Diablo 4. The Diablo 4 Winter Event, known as the Midwinter Blight, is coming back for round two in 2024, beginning with the Red-Cloaked Horror’s return. Here is when the event will begin and what rewards you’ll be able to get.

When Does the Diablo 4 Winter Event Return?

While the full Midwinter Blight event isn’t happening just yet, Blizzard is teasing players with the return of a fan-favorite enemy. The Red-Cloaked Horror is coming back to Sanctuary for players to defeat. For a limited-time only, players will be able to tackle this special boss foe in the world alongside other players.

The return of the Red-Cloaked Horror begins on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The event will conclude on December 3, 2024. That is only a couple of weeks for players to face off against the Red-Cloaked Horror. Anyone interested should try to take it out while they have the chance.

Diablo 4 Red-Cloaked Horror Rewards, Explained

Players will be able to find the Red-Cloaked Horror in Helltide during the Diablo 4 Winter Event. Whenever players do the Helltide ambushes here, the Red-Cloaked Horror will be the boss enemy instead of the usual Hellborne. In addition, you can also face this special holiday boss in various dungeons and Infernal Hordes.

If you find and defeat the Red-Cloaked Horror, you will be able to increased rewards of Cinders, Burning Aether, and more. In addition, defeating this boss will also grant you the special Gileon’s Brew elixir item. You can also visit the Midwinter Square in Kyovashad to get a one-time winter gift. You can also do this once per account.
